Kaliningrad by MissTsukiHikari Kaliningrad by MissTsukiHikari
This isn't a photo I personally have taken, but it is a photo that one of my friends took of me and I have permission from her to use as my dAID. :)

This was taken at a convention. We were all gonna walk around as Zombies and I decided to make this be my Kaliningrad version of my Prussia cosplay. Fail wig is fail, but I do have a new one. I just need to get it styled. lol

W-wow. I really like it.
And it fits the Prussia-Kaliningrad-version very well.
It's like after the war, you know? I can imagine Gilbert looking that beaten up afterwards especially when he's the personified Kaliningrad now. Amazing.

Thank you. ^^ Kaliningrad is one of my favorite Gilberts to be. Majorly because I get to play with blood and lots of fun stuff like that. Another is because of the major shift in mentality. ^^; I love doing character development. I'm an avid RPer of Prussia. Much fun, much fun. AlsomyOTPisRussPruss.... >.>

And I still haven't gotten my new wig styled. OTL I really need to do that...

I can only agree to that. It's very interesting to see Gilbert in such a change.

Good luck with that!

It is~ I especially love the History that goes with Prussia and Russia. That contributes ALOT to his character for me. The Prussian's seemed to almost display a blind trust in the Russians, no matter how many times they betrayed or declared war on them. -Historynerdplz-

Yes, me too, though I still haven't read enough about it (if one even can read enough about it...).

I've got a Prussian History book [Iron Kingdom: The Rise and Downfall of Prussia 1600-1947] and it has alot of nice information, however the writing is a bit bland [as compared to Radzinki's The Last Tsar: The Life and Death of Tsar Nicolas II, in which the writing was great and I couldn't put it down :D] and hard to get through. I've also scoured my European History textbook [even though there isn't much in there]. If you can find the right books... :) What I really want to read is more info on The Amber Room. -Historynerd-

^^; Planning on Majoring in History with a focus of 1800s to Modern. lol. Minoring in German. That is, after I graduate. lol.

Woah, sounds good though! I read "A little tale of Prussia" to get an overview over Prussian history but unfortunatelly there wasn't much written about Russia and Prussia's relationship. That's why I continued with "Stalingrad". And YES. The Amber Room (I also read "Amber Chamber" which rhymes *laughs*) is the most romantic thing in this context, isn't it?

Oh! Much luck and fun then! It's interesting, no question. <3

It is. What I find interesting is the Prussian's devout LOYALTY to the Russians. The Russians have either betrayed or sided against the Prussians [depends on what war we speak of for which one it is] so many times, and yet the Prussians always allied themselves with Russia. They never betrayed Russia. They never declared War on Russia.

I see Gilbert's hatred for Ivan stemming from seeing his city fall, Berlin fall, and being handed off to Ivan during and after WWII. And Soviet rule has definately left the imprint of Stockholm syndrom if you ask me.

Yeah, I've just started German one at the begining of the Semester. I'm the only student that can speak what we've learned so far and have the highest grade in the class. [However, this could stem from the fact that I pick up languages very easilly outside of Spanish and French and that I'd started learning individually last year] It kinda comes naturally to me. ^^;
